Overview
The Azure Blob Storage connector allows PipesHub to access and index unstructured files stored in Microsoft Azure. Whether used for storing reports, datasets, documents, or backups, PipesHub transforms Azure-stored content into searchable and retrievable knowledge — powering AI automation and compliance-ready discovery.
How it works
PipesHub connects to Azure Blob via account keys or Shared Access Signatures (SAS). It scans containers, retrieves object metadata and file content, and parses documents using built-in content extractors (PDF, Word, Excel, images, etc.). File access respects Azure-level container permissions and metadata tagging.
This enables agents to retrieve cloud-stored records, summarize stored reports, or link blobs to related workflows (e.g. incident logs, legal docs, or project data).
