Overview

The Zoom connector syncs meetings, participants, recordings, and transcripts into PipesHub. Teams can search past calls, recover decisions made in meetings, and connect discussion to the projects and documents it relates to.

How it works

PipesHub uses admin-scoped OAuth through an Admin-managed Zoom app, so a single admin authorization covers the whole account. It indexes users, meeting details, attendance records, cloud recording share links, and AI Companion transcripts. Hosts are assigned owner permissions; alt-hosts and participants get read access.

Configure

• Create a General App in the Zoom Marketplace and select Admin-managed (this cannot be changed later)

• Paste the PipesHub redirect URL into both the OAuth Redirect URL field and the Allow List

• Add admin scopes: user:read:list_users:admin, report:read:user:admin, report:read:list_meeting_participants:admin, meeting:read:meeting:admin, cloud_recording:read:meeting_transcript:admin, cloud_recording:read:list_recording_files:admin

• Enter the Client ID and Client Secret in PipesHub and authenticate as a Zoom admin

• Configure sync strategy and indexing preferences
