Overview

The Microsoft Teams connector allows PipesHub to tap into real-time team communication. From project discussions to brainstorming sessions, Teams chat data is indexed and linked into the broader knowledge layer — enabling contextual search, recall, and automated workflows based on conversations.

How it works

Using Microsoft Graph API and OAuth authentication, PipesHub connects to Teams workspaces, indexing messages, replies, mentions, and shared files across channels and private chats (if permissioned). Conversations are parsed by thread, user, and timestamp, and linked to documents, meetings, or tasks when relevant.

This makes it easy to trace decisions, reference past discussions, or answer “What did the marketing team decide about Q1 rollout?” with pinpointed citations.

Configure

• Register an app in Azure AD and assign Chat.Read.All, ChannelMessage.Read.All, and Teams.ReadBasic.All scopes

• Activate the Teams connector in the PipesHub Microsoft 365 workspace

• Choose which teams, channels, or chats to sync

• Configure access boundaries, message history depth, and refresh cadence
