Overview

The Salesforce connector brings CRM records, accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, cases, and more into PipesHub. Sales and support teams can query pipeline history, surface customer context, and link CRM activity to documents and conversations elsewhere in the workspace.

How it works

PipesHub connects via OAuth 2.0 using an External Client App registered in Salesforce. It indexes users, roles, groups, accounts, contacts, leads, products, opportunities, cases, tasks, attached files, and Chatter feed items. People are matched by email across both systems, so record-level permissions carry over into search.

Configure
  • Create an External Client App in Salesforce Setup → App Manager and paste the PipesHub callback URL

  • Add scopes for identity, api access, and refresh_token, and enable secret requirements for the web server and refresh token flows

  • Enter the OAuth app name, Salesforce instance URL, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret in PipesHub

  • Authenticate with an admin account using the same email as your PipesHub account

  • Set sync strategy, interval, and optional date-range filters
