Overview

The OneDrive connector integrates cloud-stored documents and files into PipesHub’s enterprise knowledge graph. Users and teams can make their files — from Word docs and Excel sheets to PDFs and images — searchable and usable in context-aware AI workflows, without leaving their trusted Microsoft ecosystem.

How it works

PipesHub connects to OneDrive using Microsoft Graph and OAuth 2.0. It indexes files across personal and shared drives, capturing metadata, folder structure, and file content. Supported formats include DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF, TXT, and more. Permission fidelity ensures users can only access content they’re authorized to see.

AI agents can summarize reports, trace file references, or link stored assets to emails, meetings, or tickets — all while maintaining Microsoft 365 access control.

Configure
  • Register a Microsoft app in Azure AD and assign Files.Read.All and Sites.Read.All Graph scopes

  • Activate the OneDrive connector in PipesHub’s Microsoft 365 settings

  • Choose whether to sync personal drives, shared drives, or both

  • Set file type filters, folder depth, and sync frequency

  • Define permission policies for search visibility
