Overview

The Box connector enables PipesHub to access and index documents stored in Box — including contracts, reports, and collaborative folders. Content becomes discoverable by search and AI agents, letting teams trace decisions, automate document workflows, or extract summaries from structured files.

How it works

PipesHub uses OAuth to connect to Box and sync file metadata, folder hierarchy, and document content. Supported formats include PDF, DOCX, XLSX, images, and plain text. Access permissions from Box are respected, ensuring search visibility is aligned with user-level access.

Configure

• Register a Box app and grant it read_all_files and user info scopes

• Enable the Box connector in PipesHub’s admin panel

• Select folders or team spaces to include

• Set sync intervals and define access filters by user/group
